Detroit Party Band Educated Middle School Children
The school dance committee decided to do a retro dance from the early 50s and some of the students asked the teachers for help with planning the decorations, dress attire and music. The children were stumped as to what type of music was appropriate for the 50s era. I gave them a business card of a detroit party band to interview, I told the kids this band would be great for their event. A few days later, a group of the committee came up to me and thanked me. They told me the band played some snippets of 50s songs during the meeting and they loved them.
