The past few months have been really tough on me. I quit my job because I can longer take my bickering, demanding and insensitive boss. Then I had an argument with my mom. She was so mad at me after learning I quit my job. Tired of all the stresses in my life, I left my house and went on a vacation alone. I was trying to search for my purpose in life. I don’t know what is in store for me. The Cruises from Barcelona in May gave me a good taste of the region. I was able to unwind. I’m looking forward to going back exploring more of the region outside of the capitol cities.

I’m an educator for most of my working life. But it was my travels and exploration that made my teaching style unique. I met my boy friend in a coffee shop. We were already dating for two years when I found out he was married and has three kids. Never did I realize it since the beginning of our relationship. My heart was full of regrets, guilt, hatred and pain. I was sorry for his wife and kids. I broke their hearts without any intentions of doing it. I was probably blinded by love. I need to be alone, to be away from him. The Adventure of the Seas from Palma de Mallorca  somehow made me forget for a while what I have been going through. I never realized traveling alone can be fun too. When I went back home, I was a totally different person. I’m stronger and a better woman now.

For Mothers Day, my mom, mother in law and I celebrated it on a cruise. The Norwegian Cruise Line from Malaga was a surprise given by husband. It was so sweet of him and I was dumbfounded when I received the present. The weather has been rubbish at the start of the tour. Excited to travel! Breakfast downstairs in the outside seating area, but under cover. It’s really pleasant eating outside especially in the mornings. At night, we sat on our chairs and stared at the view of the ocean and had some few drinks of wine. It was the perfect time to bond with my mothers. I am truly grateful to have spend mothers day with them

My boyfriend is 11 years older than me. He became my best friend, confidant and he just makes me happy. My parents did not approve of our relationship because he was married. He was separated from his wife and has 2 children. He was kind loving and romantic. My world revolves around him. My parents made me quit my job. My dad, being a military man, even threatened him to stay away from me. To make our long story short, I left my job. I lost track of my boyfriend I busied myself with the family business. Basically, I went on with my life and tried to forget about him. I went on a cruise hoping I would forget him. The Cruises from New Orleans to Belize is sophisticated yet relaxing. .

After 7 long years, I’m finally engaged to the man of dreams.  It was an experience we’ll never forget and plan on returning next year
