How to Meditate
Once you decide you’d like to try meditation, the problem becomes how to meditate. The fact is that while meditation is a powerful tool, it is not a very easy one to start at first. It will take you some time to actually get to the point where you can successfully meditate and enjoy the experience. There are several things that you can do to help yourself along though. In addition to what you’ll see at the site referenced above, consider focusing on some singular object, a pretty flower or a babbling brook. Think about that image and keep pushing it to the front of your mind as other things try to intrude. Eventually, you will train yourself to focus only on that one object and when you do, you’ll find meditation is not only easy, but something you can no longer imagine living without.
