Why abs machines are only half the story

Too many people rely on equipment alone to train their abs. When the results don’t come, they blame the machine. And they’re not completely wrong, as many abs machines are virtually useless.

What you need to realize when using any sort of equipment for the purposes of toning or weight loss, is that you can’t just lie on your back or sit in a chair with a piece of spot-training equipment, like an ab machine, and expect the weight to just drop off you.

Losing the flab that covers up your well toned muscles means not only watching your diet carefully, but also engaging in a complete fitness routine that includes interval training or other cardio exercises to help burn the fat. A static machine alone cannot do that.
