The Algarve property my step-dad owns
Last night over dinner my stepfather talked about how he escaped from East Berlin into West Berlin by getting past the Berlin wall. He later managed to get into West Germany and then came to the United States where he met my mother 10 years ago. My mother and my step-dad are very close and I am glad that she had found someone new in her life. Just last year they went to Portugal to look at some Algarve property. Evidently my step-dad had gone to that part of the country years before and really liked everything about it. Who knows maybe they will move over there.
